Never listened to Gangaji to any depth before but this is great. Words are so limited and ‘great’ is such a poor word to explain the experience I had whilst listening to the video below. If you’re ‘interested in’ spiritual awakening, self-realization or however you want to call the coming alive of Truth, then listen and enfree-yourself (of that which hinders Truth). I appreciate that Gangaji focusses on the self-hatred – let’s not beat around the bush 🙂 – which hides behind most people’s mask. And yet most people will not, however, face it…
Isn’t it a human-made paradox that we call it a mask, and a mask is something one sees through, yet the mask is actually all about not seeing (that which hides behind it).
Btw ‘Ganga’ is the Hindi word for the Ganges river…
Gangaji – The heart can bear it
For anyone on the spiritual path, often the final hurdle to true, lasting fulfillment is overcoming deep self-hatred. The hurdle is in facing what we think is the truth of who we are – worthless, no good, unlovable, and possibly unredeemable.
In this powerful compilation of monologues and interactions, Gangaji first addresses how we perpetuate worthlessness in our daily lives. Then, penetrating the raw emotional layers of self-hatred, she demonstrates how we can naturally and effortlessly meet the absolute worst in us. Only in that meeting can we see our true face – love itself
