UPDATE 6th April 2014: Following taking Gnan Vidhi two weeks ago I edited this post below somewhat – a few things were not said the right way according to how I now feel. The Gnan was all that I had hoped for and more. It is a huge blessing. You see where you are at fault, you understand your life’s challenges, you understand the ‘why’ and the shakti arises from staying within the Gnan knowledge, you have all the spiritual tools and most importantly, you are on the way to Moksha (liberation / Salvation). I think all my spiritual seekings of the last 20 years brought me to this. I wanted Moksha more than anything else in this life, and now the path is most definitely open. The conviction arises because you see the proof of the pudding in your own life – karma / sufferings clear up, and a deep happiness arises. The people are humble and want nothing from you. It’s hard to put into words adequately, you have to experience it for yourself. Such a blessing.
A big hello!
I know it’s been quite some time, but life has a habit of taking over our every bit of energy. But despite that, I have been itching to write and have missed blogging, but all posts take some time, and now even more so that I feel way beyond all that conspiracy stuff (quick posts, easy to upload), and back into good ole BLISS and self-realization musings (ie I need to write RAWWW and it takes time!)
So I’ve been focussed on worldly life, but at the same time I have been very much on the path of self-realization. Yes I know I used to quote Jiddu Krishnamurti eg ‘truth is a pathless land’ but now I think his teachings were quite an intellectual going round in circles. He did engender huge insights for me – no doubt about that – but as for shakti – well, that’s another thing. And that’s what it’s all about – shakti.
Shakti is the sanskrit word for all these things: power, empowerment, energy, agent of change.
And if you’re anything like I used to be – someone who had a real hard time believing there could be anything such as intangible energy – then there may come a time for you too when you see that there really is shakti. Then a whole world of the ‘real’ will open up. Everything is determined by energy, and when you experience this force, you will see it is just so subtle yet powerful beyond every single super power you may have. 🙂
At the end of the day you can know everything there is possibly to know and have very little shakti. This is the trouble – imho – with many enlightenment teachings in the west (and probably the east also). The teachings are often based upon an intellectual understanding but shakti is not there.
As you may know from this blog, I take spirituality very seriously. There is no time (imho) to play with human life. Human life does not come easy. We waste so many lifetimes chasing after worldly things. The question is simply how long one wants to go round the reincarnation prison – how many more lifetimes will wake them up? I guess the answer – truly – is potentially infinite. But who really wants to go round and round in a prison of worldliness getting nowhere fast?
So where is there to get to?
The answer is so you can get off the treadmill of lifetime and lifetime of misery.
But the challenges to wake up are many. We live in a time when good is bad and bad is good. When things are topsy turvy. In Indian traditions it is Kalyug or Kali Yuga – an age of many many years when the world would be mired in corruption, lies and deceipt. When people would not be true to their own thought, speech and actions. It is that age now. All that Ascension stuff – in my view now it’s all pie in the sky. There is no evidence of a golden age. Things only get worse in the world out there. Each of our individual lives tells us so if we really care to call a spade a spade.
But how to awaken?
Being honest, is one key point.
Seeking to ‘know thyself’ is the main one.
Enquire about your real Self. Are you really John or Kelly? [substitute your name] What is the source of your true happiness? Is it truly your wife, husband, son, daughter, money, fame, or fortune?
That’s the starting point
Sure, it may take a while before you agree with me on that. And so be it. But the effort to find out who you really are is the key.
For lifetimes we’ve wandered in ignorance of who we really are, and success (or whetever that means to you) simple mires us further in ignorance. Unless we become aware.
So how do we break the cycle of pleasure-suffering or the rebirth cycle?
I’m going to give you a way…
It’s amazing that so few people even ask that sort of question.
If you’re one who does, read on…
For myself, I’ve seriously spent many a dollar (well, pound sterling) and hour on personal development and spiritual work. I’ve followed many teachers past and present, and I found a path that had power (shakti). This is Akram Vignan, which means the stepless path of real knowledge. Here’s the link: http://uk.dadabhagwan.org/uk/pages/schedule/ – Croydon, Harrow, other places in UK, all coming up from this weekend itself! So come along! Other places too – US if I am not wrong, Alaska too – please check dates on this link.
I will be taking Gnan Vidhi this weekend and have waited 6 months for it – and I can’t wait! It’s not a miracle thing – you have to do the work, but it has the shakti and you have all the answers you Could possibly need. It’s a hard path! Karma is black and white and we have much of it. This knowledge tells you how to get clean. It’s as simple as that. Though not always easy. But truly the hard part is wandering in the dark. The Gnan ceremony is said to to be ‘self-realization in 2 hours’ – now, can you afford to miss such a thing?! Hopefully some of my family will be doing it too. It separates You (true Self) from you (ego-self). I myself had a 5 second experience of it recently – the separation – all of what was reena, the suffering, anxieties etc that were going on in that moment just came to a halt, it was pretty incredible. That’s what Dadashri had happen to him in 1958 but on a permanent basis. Shuks, I always knew in my heart this life was for waking up…
So, come along – fly in to London even. Dadashri who became self-realized at the train station in 1958, after which this train of spiritual knowledge set off, said that you will come across this Gnan only once in a million years…
So if you do intend to attend this Sunday call me and I’ll look out for you and we can hook up at the event.
If anyone in London is interested let me know as we are thinking of a group for English speakers in South London if there is enough interest.
Btw, it costs nothing.
Not sure? Check out experiences (select English under Languages) here.
Ok so that’s it for this post. Who knows when I’ll post again, but I respond to comments and emails so drop me a line, whether you’re a regular or not.
Wishing you much bliss and true Knowing,
Jai Sat Chit Anand – Pure awareness of the eternal is bliss
