Prepare for the worst, but hope for the best – isn’t that the sort of thing a Sergeant Major might say to his troops when going out to battle?
It feels like I’ve been nagged to write this blog post. Nagged by intuition, that is. This post is about how ‘bad’ events leading up to, as well as beyond, 2012 could be – IMHO. There is the doomsday school of thought (end of the world) and there is the ‘nah, nothing like that will happen, just look at Y2K’ brigade. So where do I stand? This is what this post is about.
In the end, Reality is always obvious. And it’s always simple to understand. Do you sometimes have lucid moments when you see things so clearly? One such Truth that became obvious to me recently is the Universal Law of Balance, or cause and effect. For every cause there is an effect, and every effect must be balanced. The circle has to come round fully. It doesn’t matter if you go clockwise or anti-clockwise, but the circle has to come good. That’s the law of the universe. Makes, sense, right?
Let’s take healing journey. When there is emotional stuff inside, an energy is created that influences our psyche, and thus our behaviour. All that this heavy energy requires is to be acknowledged, to be allowed, rather than ignored. Only then can healing occur, but once we allow, occur it does, since balancing has taken place. Without the feeling of our pain, healing could not occur. Here, pain includes everything that takes away form the joy of the present moment, from the joy of just being alive. When the heavy energy is transmuted by allowing, we are left in a clear, quite simplistic place, and from here we can consciously create what we wish to focus on. That which we focus on, comes into being in reality. That which we ignore, must eventually come into being, before we can arrive at zero point – or simple joy.
I digress a little, however. Coming back to balancing, if we look at the world as it is, one would have to be in serious denial to think that it can go from its present state to an ascended state of peace and happiness in one fell swoop and without much trauma. No, my understanding is that balancing has to occur. Acsension does not rescind the need to undergo the sometimes painful process of becoming conscious. In other words, the responsibility remains upon each of us to give up attachment to – for want of a better term – lower vibrations.
It seems perfectly logical and obvious to me that in the process of the Golden Age coming into being, a period of chaos and strife has to happen. I have to say that I see it as inevitable that this will be the case going towards 2012 and maybe a little beyond. The worst is yet to come, and it could be a lot worse, but it’s not going to be the end of the world. That would be too easy!
If we are to learn to not be greedy then things will be taken away, so that we learn not to take things for granted.
If we are to learn that it is not how much money you can make, but how much you can contribute to the community by making it a better world in your own unique way, then we will be financially challenged (probably includes the vast majority of us).
If we are to learn to respect the Earth (Gaia), then she will erupt and hiccough, and many deaths will occur.
If we are so hooked on watching soaps and going shopping for entertainment then world events will come and shake us but this time in our own back yard, and then maybe we’ll take notice of what’s really going on beyond our TV screen.
If we are to stand for a better world, we also need to take a stand. A stand away from our dependency on banks, corporates, pharmaceuticals, media, conventional medicine and whatever else that secretly keeps our lives an invisible prison of cunning and intricate proportions.
And lastly, I would say the one that most of us resist. If we are to go beyond our own self-imposed limitations, we must do the inner healing work, no matter what. Without getting the ***t out of the way, how can we create anything new and fresh? We are I believe, in a time of a global healing catharsis.
Let’s face it, there has to be a conscious waking up on a much wider scale than at present for anything fundamentally to change, doesn’t there? You can’t go from hell to utopia without some challenge. That’s why I’m saying: Prepare For The Worst, But Keep Sights On Silver Lining. It isn’t going to be an easy ride. Who knows the extent of the events that will transpire, and are already beginning to, but the best policy is not to take anything for granted. I do believe it would be sensible to take reasonable, practical precautions. Who knows what could happen? Water – will it always be available? Food? Banks (access to money)? Power?
But it’s important to take a measured approach. I’ve heard of people doing all sorts to ‘prepare’ for 2012. My goodness, where do they get the energy from?! Nah, personally, I think it’s good to know some survival basics, and have some supplies, but it’s not about going and living in some underground bunker or something! And no, we’re not going to battle, but rather, if we choose it, the silver lining of Peace.
And if it’s another Y2K…then all well and good. You can’t exactly moan, can you! At the end of the day noone can tell you what is going to happen on 21st December 2012. All we can do is find our own hearts, stay calm and surrender to the process of accelerated Life at play right now. Btw, breathing deeply from the stomach is a very, very good practice.
The video top right is of J Z Knight channelling Ramtha, whom I really like watching. This video is particularly relevant to this post. “You can have the power to create the reality to survive.”
Finally, a quote:
A Hopi Elder speaks: “You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered… Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? Where is your water? Know your garden. It is time to speak your Truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader.”
Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, Least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from you attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” – Hopi Nation – Oraibi, Arizona
