If you are interested in self-realization or spiritual growth then you may like these videos. I must say I have really enjoyed listening to Shunyamurti’s words since I came across him as if by chance recently whilst on Youtube. He really does understand Truth….I won’t say a lot, I’ll just let the below videos do the talking.
I just wanted to quickly share this inspiration. There is very little real inspiration in this world. Mostly it keeps you mired in the very ego-mind and illusion that real inspiration highlights – as opposed to hides. In recent years – since waking up around 2007 – my inspiration has come from such teachers. Those who speak of the ultimate and most profound truths, beyond all religion, are those whose words can satiate and satisfy.
The Feeling of Ab-Sense
What is this subtle feeling in almost every human being that there is something missing? Is the feeling of lack inherent in our being, or is there already a fulfilment that passes before our eyes in our constant seeking of it?
The Theory of Western Science
Excerpt: “Western science and philosophy have always had a problem and [the problem is] that they where based on the theory that there is a physical, material, external world. But they have recognized that it is only a theory, and it can never be proven. But they don’t let you know that in school. They teach you it as a presupposition, as if it where a fact, but they know it is only a theory. And most of the Western philosophers . . . have recognized the impossibility of proving that there is an external world, Kant is famous for saying that we can never know the thing in itself, das Ding an sich. All you can know is your own consciousness…” Recorded on the afternoon of Sunday, September 25, 2011.
Abandon All Hope All Ye Who Enter Here
Excerpt: The paradox of Wu-wei. You can’t really make effort to be effortless, so the whole thing is hopeless. Now, the Christian monks had an even worse problem because they were trying to teach humility as the key to service, but they didn’t have anyone who could teach it, because anyone who claimed to be humble enough to teach it was guilty of being somebody who was not humble… by definition. But all of these paradoxes were not a problem for Advaita. (Event: Seva Saves! Retreat. Recorded on the evening of Sunday, April 29, 2012)
