Whilst listening to the latest Hollow Earth conference call , the film, “The Abyss” was mentioned once again. So luckily I found where to watch it online and here it is, in case you haven’t seen the film before or wish to watch again
It’s pretty long but very entertaining and engaging. Only thing I would say is that the brilliant James Cameron (also of Avatar fame) might have had more scenes with the beautiful ET beings and their crafts (they never quite venture inside the crafts do they….personally I think it’s time for a film of ETs talking, walking, joking and for seeing their homes, spacecrafts, families, lifestyles etc!)
Here’s a summary of the film:
“When an American nuclear submarine is mysteriously attacked by an unidentified vessel, the crew of Deepcore an underwater oil drilling platform reluctantly agrees to investigate the wreckage. But 2,000 feet down they discover the sub poised on the craggy brink of the Caymen Trough an Abyss some 2½ miles deep. So begins an incredible adventure as the crew are thrust into the black heart of the Abyss to confront a force so awesome, so powerful that it could destroy mankind itself, and they realise that they alone can save the world from the terrifying secret that lies deep within the Abyss.”
The ‘force so awesome..’ is a ‘non terrestrial’ race that live down there.
The film is in the box to the right, and if you have to install the DivX Plus Web Player then it should work, it did for me.

Enjoy.
